Nadine Kellman has been making her musical mark in Western Canada. Landing regular gigs at festivals and venues across British Columbia and Alberta, she’s busier than ever. Kellman is a tunesmith, crafting songs of sorted love tales into soulful daydreams. Her blues-tinged folk is an avenue for her trademark witty retorts and open letter songwriting. Backing Kellman on her musical journey are The Black Wonders, an Edmonton super group of sorts, with Jordan Billie Zizi on lead guitar. Backing Kellman on drums is Bramwell Park, and Moses Gregg on bass. The Alberta-based band captured their musical escapades in the new album, Taking Me Back at the Riverdale Recorders and at Big Dreamer Sound in Edmonton. This 2014 release follows their 2011 release of Kellman’s sold-out debut EP “Up from the Basement.” The band has received media exposure on CBC Radio, CKUA and CJSR.
